The HKAPI Medical Representatives Training Programme has been completed in 2020 with all classes being done online during this era of social distancing. This year, 71 students applied for the 23-lecture course, with 69 of them being qualified to take the examination. With the continual support from our member companies in sourcing protective equipment all over the world, 17,000 surgical face masks have arrived in Hong Kong on 20 February. All face masks were immediately delivered to the Hong Kong Alliance of Patients' Organisation, the Hong Kong Patients’ Rights Association (Under the Society for Community Organisation (SoCO)), and the Hong Kong Alliance for Rare Diseases to support patients in the current outbreak of Coronavirus disease.
